Observation on Teacher

4.1. Planning for teaching

To teach, the teacher should have lesson plan . Teacher have to make lesson plan for every topic in every meeting. The lesson plan is the simple lesson plan but consist all aspect that need such as lesson plan identity, subject, learning objective, learning contents, learning procedures and assignment. Teacher can’t teach if they doesn’t have lesson plan.

4.2.  Preparing lessons and materials

The teacher preparing the lesson and teaching materials by his own not only based on the curriculum and the guidance book but also search other reference such as internet , quipper and so on. The teacher  also make his own slides or powerpoint as the learning tools and  in the slides the teacher  put some video and games to make the student more interest in learning Science.

4.3.  Teaching in class

In the class, the teacher always using expository method (teacher center) for teaching. The teacher explain the topic in front of class but if any students don't understand about the material the students can ask the teacher about the material. When teaching the students, the teacher always use videos related to subject matter to make the teaching and learning process more interesting. 

During the observation day, I found out there are around 35-45 students in every classes,  the teacher teach the students using powerpoint and in the powerpoint there are game, quiz, and video to make the students more interest to study. The teacher use expository method (teacher center) but sometimes students can explain and share what they know about the material. The teacher teach the students  in very simple way but very clear and easy to understand.
 

4.4. Measurement and Evaluation 

To measurement and evaluation teacher use question and answer in the Quipper Applications. So teacher will know if the students finish answering the questions or not and also it's more easy for the teacher to check the students' answer and do the corrections. For mid test, and final test in every semester the teacher use paper quiz.
